PHS Client BAE Systems hosted New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) and state Business and Economic Affairs Commissioner Taylor Caswell for their first visits to the state’s largest manufacturer today. The received an overview of the company’s NH operations, and the platforms, systems, and equipment manufactured locally and across the country before discussing workforce development initiatives and other policy issues with senior executives. The Governor and Commissioner also toured a recently renovated manufacturing area staffed in part by newer employees from the Nashua Community College Microelectronics Boot Camp. The 10-week program, sponsored by BAE Systems, is a 10 week program that prepares graduates to immediately step into a high-paying job in advanced manufacturing at BAE Systems or any another company.
