Sig Sauer Hosts State Legislators for Energy Policy Brief at Pease Headquarters

Sig Sauer continued its efforts to be more engaged in policy discussions in New Hampshire when it hosted Eversource Energy’s Energy Policy Brief for Seacoast-area state legislators at its global headquarters and manufacturing facilities at the Pease Tradeport on February 6th.  A bi-partisan group of about twenty state Senators and Representatives toured the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility before hearing presentations from Sig and Eversource Executives.  The briefings, which included robust Q&A between legislators and officials from both companies, gave legislators an overview of the complex New England energy market and the factors contributing to the region’s high energy costs now and into the future. Sig Sauer officials gave discussed how these high costs impact business decisions at the company and how they can hurt economic growth in the state.
